A while back I posted instruction on how to do this as well. I believe it is a 12" blade. When I replaced mine I had to reuse the metal spline from the original blade.jeff618 wrote:Trying to save others some time, money, stress & headaches... There is an alternative to going to the dealer for a replacement rear blade on the Infiniti QX56. It may first appear that the blade and arm are one piece but if you take a look, you'll see the wiper blade can be replaced and its actually quite simple. It is a special rear wiper blade though. There may be other alternatives, but the "Trico Exact Fit Rear Integral Blade" snaps right onto the special rear arm and looks like the factory original. You can find it online. Much cheaper than the dealer alternative and easier/less tedious than messing around with rubber blade refills. Comes with removal and replacement instructions too. Hope this helps.
It sounds like you possibly replaced the rubber blade only with a "refill"? That works too definitely. What I'm referring to is replacing the entire blade frame and all. (not arm but wiper blade) I don't like messing around with a lot of mechanical stuff plus I'm in a very cold area with snow and ice so I like to replace the whole thing due to the abuse the wiper goes through in the winter. For me just pulling the old one off and snapping the new one on was the "wipers for dummies" way to take care of it. Either way works though!!Timmbo wrote:A while back I posted instruction on how to do this as well. I believe it is a 12" blade.
