QX56 Power back door (Hatch)

I have a real nightmare. This 05 QX56 was in a rear end collision and had a new hatch installed. Ever since the power hatch has not opened at all. It will open manually. I search the forums and the is nothing out there. We have installed a new hatch motor, latch and wiring harness. We have tested the pinch strips and installed a new BCM. Still nothing is working. The switches are ok and a scan with the Consult II is not revealing anything. I suspect that we are overlooking something very minor. Does anyone have any ideas?
