QX56 - Hitch cover mod

Got a new QX, tow quite a bit and did not like the rough look.

So I bought a 2nd cover and using a 3 inch hole saw tweaked the black cover for towing.

'Before pic' is the stock cover with no holes and painted to match body.

Like this one:

Removing the stock cover leaves a nasty unfinished rectangular hole in the bumper the size of the mod above.

Skeeter,
The mod looks great !!! After taking off the cover for the first time, it looks rough...

Do the chains hang under the cover ?

Also, If anyone has a spare cover, please send me a msg.
