QX56 / 2015 QX80 Limited Swappable Parts

Hi All,

Long time poster on several other forums from the past. Recently just bought a 2012 QX56 fully loaded (Deluxe Touring Package, 22" Wheel Package, Entertainment, Technology, Illuminated Sills, yada yada yada....). This was a rare find as it had low miles (17,000) and every option available to it for the year. Just picked it up last night.

The wife, really likes some of the exterior features on the 2015 QX80 Limited however, and I'm wondering what's actually swappable, or requires some finagling.

In particular: The Front end. the QX80 has new grills, different headlights, different fogs, and LED DRLs, and I'm guessing a new front bumper. But fitment wise, if one were to just replace the headlights themselves.... is that the same fitment?

The Tail lights on the limited, are direct plug and play from what i understand.

Does anyone know what the QX80 Limited Black out version of the wheels are called or where / how to get them?

Has anyone attempted to look at swapping any of these pieces to update their car?

you will not find many who will go through the hoops to do this. and those who do, most likely will not post on a forum.

knee jerk says it should be plug and play for the bumper, but the LED lamps and such may require some mods on the harness.

best way to know for sure is get the service manuals for the 2012 and 2015 (avail on this site or online elsewhere) and look at the exterior sections and compare.
