QX50 Front Bumper on an EX35?

Discussion of Infiniti's amazing (and underrated) sport-luxury crossovers, the EX35 and EX37. For 2014, the EX series will be renamed QX50, in line with Ininfiit's new naming conventions.

I've been curious about this for a while, but only started looking into it today because some wonderful person backed into my car, scratching/scuffing the paint on my front bumper, and cracking the grille. Needless to say, I'm pretty pissed because otherwise my car was pretty mint and I've finally done everything I wanted to it.

I'm going to try cleaning it up with goo gone, and then some scratch remover product, but I know the scuffs will still be visible, and the grille will still be cracked. While "not bad" by many's standards, I know it'll drive me nuts. I'm keeping an eye out for wrecked dark currant EX35's to replace them, but was wondering if one from a QX50 would bolt up? The contours look the same, everything I see makes me think it should bolt up, but I can't find anything online to verify this.

Curious on everyone's opinions on this. My car has the 360 cameras and parking sensors, so I assume I'll need to find a replacement with the same.

Thanks for your insight!

Yes, I think both front and rear are interchangeable.

That was what I assumed, was curious if anyone had actually done it. Couldn't find any examples on Google. Curious if thinks like sensors and the front camera would connect without issues. Looks like they would in pictures.

My guess is not much was changed relating to wiring and harnesses. The essentially produced the same exact car for 9-10 yrs.... other than some visual bumper changes, but I assume they use clips in the same spots and your existing camera connectors will plug right in...(fingers crossed for you)

Haha thanks XIS. I'm keeping an eye out for bumpers locally. If I can find one, I may go this route. Otherwise, my fiance's colleague has a friend who owns a body shop who said he'd take care of it for me. Just haven't had time to take it to him, and with all the snow my car is filthy anyway. Feels likes it's going to be a while yet till the convertible comes out :(.

Hi, did you end up fitting a QX50 bumper on a EX?

No I haven't, been DDing the Z so the EX has been ignored since spring. Although snow is in the forecast so the Z is likely being put away tonight. Gonna try to get the bumper buffed/waxed, if I'm not happy then I might just order a bumper and see what happens.
