QX50 Front Bumper Damaged

Discussion of Infiniti's amazing (and underrated) sport-luxury crossovers, the EX35 and EX37. For 2014, the EX series will be renamed QX50, in line with Ininfiit's new naming conventions.

My QX50 got really intimate with a raccoon at 50mph and now I have a dent on the left side of my bumper that I cannot fix. Any recommendation on removing the front bumper/repair? Body shop wants $1000 to replace bumper repainted top part (which is not needed in my opinion). I really don't want to repaint since I heard it is hard to match the moonlight white paint. Any experience with heat mold the black plastic portion of the bumper?

Have any pictures? A Paintless Dent Repair shop MIGHT be able to fix it for you.

On a previous vehicle someone dinged my bumper. Ugly corner dent in the plastic. Took it to a local garage,
they fired up the blow torch and heated bumper from the underside. Shaped it as close as they good.
Not perfect, but looked a hell alot better. Some cracked paint , car being black was easy to touch up.
Charged me $30.00.
Might be worth a try...
