We have a QX4 with 259,000 miles on it. Recently, when we turn the vehicle, and take the key out of the ignition, the overhead light and all the power goes out. There is a clicking sound that comes from under the dash by the electronic modual , or what ever it is. The first time it happened, I freaked out. As I thought about it, it appears that something electrical is wrong, which seems to originate at the brake pedal switch. When I press the brake peddle, all lights and power, comes back on.
Anyone have this problem?
O yea, If someone has the electrical wire diagram for that switch, plesae post it so I can see what else is attached to that circuit.
Sometime, the gear handle won't release also, until I play with the brake peddle for a few min.
Please help.
