QX4 vs MERCEDES ML320

I love to know a detailed comparism between my '01 QX4 and Mercedes ML320 suv; specialy the off road capability and built quality also. thanks

I know nothing about off-road capability of either one, but in terms of reliability, ML320 is probably nowhere near the QX4's excellent rating. Although recently ML is probably slowly catching up, a few years back Consumer Reports stopped recommending ML because it's reliability was way too low.

i completely agree about the ML. see my other post. also, im not peculating, its first hand experience.

Not only ML, but some MBs are not up to the Japanese reliability standard. I know one E320 (from a friend of mine) failed many times, including transmission, power windows and so on. It becomes his headache. MB has an excellent mobile repair van or SUV to come to the failed car. Hopefully that mobile van doesn't fail.

Luxury and reliability are two different things. Personally I don't want a super luxury car that has every fancy things but often fail to operate, waiting for road services.

absolutely, if you read the other post, i used to tow them in to MB service.

the ML320, E320, and C240 are the worst.
