So I've been fiddling with my qx4 and from what I see it has potential to be a very nice and comfy build car, Though I've been having some issues finding parts to improve its performance if you see anything you think may be helpful feel free to tag it here, as well as custom body pieces because I've noticed there's next to none,

Aswell as interchangeable parts from other vesicles (performance or body) that may fit and still be able to function

its an odd build and I get it but I feel a nice little boxed out qx4 might be a good tuner, the engines are reliable and not too difficult to work with if you have any questions or advice lmk thx

With a '99 you've got the old 2 valve engine, rated at ~170HP, which IMO is clearly not enough for a 4300 pound 4WD truck. I mean that's 5000 pounds with 2 people and vacation luggage. The 240HP rated 4 valve VQ35DE (although my butt dyno says more like 215-220) while not a hot rod, is fully adequate. Later variations of that engine have more power and 4.0 displacement too although I'm not sure how much work a swap would be. So, you've got that problem/option. The 2nd gen/R50 platform ran for 10 years so there is quite a bit of stuff available, although not quite all of it applies to the QX4. Mostly, but not all. I'm not that into them to really know, but I'm not aware of any custom body parts, but there are aftermarket push bars/winches, lift kits etc more in fitting with a 4WD truck.

I actually went through some more research of my car its a 2000 model so that's one more good thing, :yesnod , although some wench bars would be useful its going to be for street performance so its an odd angle for this type of car (ik all too well )
