I have a sway to my car around corners.. I have been to two shops.. One shop tells me to replace the front sway bars.. and shocks.. The other shop, says no, there is no front sway bar to replace, but a rear Radail Arm, that needs replacing.. Which one of either of these repairs sounds right.. Or is it something else?

thank you keene

What car? Describe the swaying....?

Blown shocks can give you a weird unresponsive feeling around turns...

But I dunno what exactly ur problem is

It's probably shot-to-hell rear bushings. It happens & is pretty common. It's called the "death sway" check this it: http://npora.ipbhost.com//index.php?showtopic=7052 as well as http://www.4x4parts.com/ubbthr...6933

This ismore than likely what it is & is a pretty easy fix. You can either buy new lower control arms & install them or you can buy just the bushings (poly are the best) & have them pressed in.

BTW you do have front & rear sway bars, but I have both of mine off & theres not much difference in ride (I did it for better flex during offroading).
