QX4 Stalling

I have a 97 QX4 that stalls under hard breaking. Has anyone else had this problem or know what might cause it?

refresh me guys, doesn't the Qx4 have the VG30DE in it or was that just the Pathfinder?

After the engine stall, does the vehicle restart with no problem? Has there been any work performed recently or work that might contribute to your concern?

There has not been any work done on it recently. My wife drives the vehicle and has stated that it has stalled under hard braking a few times. Could this be a torque converter related problem? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. It starts back up with out any problem.

could be bad pcv valves. does this happen when the car is warmed up or only when cold?if during both there might be a vacuum leak or IACV going funky on ya
