hello friend.

I just did some mantaining on my 2001 qx4 3.5L when it reach 99KM

change :

Spark plug

oil/ oil filter

coolant

air filter

it drive fine for the few week. Now my check Engine light stay on. I took the car into THE DEALER. they say the ignition coil were bad causing it to cut in and out.

All listed change above was done by me. so I am worried that i might of mess up some where.

It would help alot if some 1 can post or point me to right direction on a write up of "HOW TEST THE IGNITION COIL) - the gray box on top of the Spark plug.

Go to autozone or whatever auto parts store is near you, they should rent OBD2 scanners out for free. All the stores here in San Diego rent them out for free. Plug it into the corrsponding outlet under the dash, turn it on and VOILA it will tell you which one is bad.
