The sides of the front seats in my 2003 QX4 are falling apart - seems to be a common problem.

CoverKing doesn't have a custom-fit cover specifically for the QX4. I decided to give the Pathfinder version a shot, and they fit very well.

Not quite perfect on the side where the controls are, but good enough. Also had to cut the piece of fabric on my stock seats that covers the space where the back of the seat meets the base.

These are the ones I ordered:

Custom Fit Front 50/50 Power Bucket Seat Cover for Select Nissan Pathfinder Models - Neosupreme
With side airbag and lumbar, 50/50 power bucket.

Not sure what you mean here. Is there any "fabric"? My wife's 2001 is just leather, and there is a gap between the back and the seat (i.e., something can slip through).

Thanks, Gary

I've wanted to address the ripped seats in our 03 Pathfinder. The leather and vinyl on these cars was cheap and starts to break apart after enough sun and use.

I've looked in junkyards but all the seats I see are far worse then ours. I've pondered take the bottom off and gluing on some repair strips to patch the parts of the vinyl lifting off. Given mine are on the seam this probably won't come out that well, but it might be a decent temporary repair.

If you end up buying some new covers please share pictures and your experience here. I'm sure many others are curious.

Mine had a piece of fabric covering that gap between the back and base of the seat. Not sure why yours doesn't have it.
