Hey Team!

I recently had a braking issue a couple months back and the Meineke said I should replace the Brake booster and Master Cylinder. They tried charging me more than a ridiculous amount.
A neighborhood mechanic of mine only change the Brake booster and the truck worked perfectly until now (3 months)

It seems to be losing pressure
It makes a sound like it's leaking air when I brake

Before I call it quits and take it in for the professional touch I was hoping for some advice?

The booster happens to be Remanufactured from Rock Auto. I didn't know that meant refurbished at the time
Should I try another Booster under warranty?
Change the master cylinder?

You guys have always been more than helpful and thank you in advance!

Sounds like the booster to me. A bad Master cylinder will typically manifest itself by a sinking pedal, the pedal slowly drifting down usually while under light pressure. A hard pedal will be a booster problem. If it's not holding vacuum you will have a vacuum leak and depending on the size of the leak diminished or total lack of power assist on the brakes.
