QX4 fender replacement instructions??? rubber strips

So I found out that PartSource here in canada supplies front fenders for the qx4, $300 each primed...im CONSIDERING replacing both of mine if painting them wont be too much $$. The issue I have is that rubber strip along the plastic moulding will probably be non reuseable...I remember someone on here trying to find a replacement..I dont think theres an answer yet!

Anybody ever rip off their fenders? If I end up doing this I will send the new fenders in for painting and just install them myself.
