Car had one owner since 2004 and it was in amazing condition. I paid a bit more then I should have because the interior and exterior was very clean, and the car seems like it was really well taken car of.
Unfortunately for me, this car has not been very reliable so far.... Today the main belt slipped off and I noticed the fan bracket bearing are completely shot. Can someone give me some advice how to remove it?
I have all bolts off but the power steering is compressing one of the bracket corners (the side where power steering bracket share the same bolt with fan pulley bracket). Do I need to remove the power steering pump to get the fan bracket out? How do I loosen the power steering pump to slide the fan pulley bracket out?
Any help would be great. I really hope this bad start I had with the QX4 goes away soon.
