QX4 Engine Problems 2002 Vehicle

I need major help. My 2002 QX4 engine has a power valve screw missing from the power valve . I was told that this is a rare problem and Infiniti refuses to help since it is out of warranty. It appears that it was a factory issues and the screw comes loose over time. The engine runs but is very loud with a knocking sound. Sounds like valves are tapping, but not sure. We can not find a rebuilt engine for this SUV. Has anyone else had this problem and was able to find a solution? Should I pursue Infiniti more agressively?

i have heard about this before in the I35.the screw can blow your motor.to get it out you have to go into the cylinder it is in.unless the dealer touched the component,you cant blame them for not catching it.unless you complained about it when in warranty.how far out of warranty.
