My daughter has a 2002 QX4. This is a Canadian truck with daytime running lights. The left hand high beam quit working so I tried changing the bulb. No luck.

The high beam plug has two wires, one red, one black. The red wire has power. I assume the black one should be a ground, but there is no continuity to ground on the black wire.

Looking at a wiring diagram on autozone.com it looks like a US model would be pretty straight forward but the Canadian model runs everything to a daytime running light module.

Anyone run across this problem before or have any suggestions?

My daytime light module did the same thing I bypassed it herehttp://npora.ipbhost.com//inde...odule

others have fixed the module by re-soldering broken connections but on mine I could not see any broken points.

the drl module is attached to the fender beside the battery on my 02 pathy

Okay, thanks for the suggestions guys. I'll check it out the next time my daughter is around. How hard is it to get that light module open without breaking it?
