I've read thru all of the threads regarding this matter and have still not come out with a decisive answer as to which side the P1140 code is for.The Scan tool says LH Bank 1 but LH is driver side and bank 1 is passenger side unless Infiniti is backwards and LH means passenger side. Who knows for sure?

Okay, I double checked just to make sure and the OBD II code reads:P1140 Intake Valve Timing Control Position Sensor, LH Bank 1

So in another post about this issue I asked which side this is and was told:

Bank 1 = passenger sideLH= driver side

a contradiction?So which side is code P1140?

Just so everyone knows, when referencing a location on an auto it's done as if sitting in the drivers seat. Or so I have been told.
