QX4 2002-2003 - Steering mounted audio & cruise switches.

Question - Do they illuminate when you have switched on exterior lights? I seem to recall when I bought the car, they used to be lit-up. Is this correct?. Any feedback will be appreciated. The Dealership mechs say that they dont illuminate.

They do not illuminate. I had a 2002 QX4.

My dad's Maxima is the same way: steering wheel controls don't illuminate. Drives me nuts. Terrible oversight on Nissan's part.

My LS has buttons on the BACK of the steering wheel that light up for crying out loud.
