Well Ive had a fun weekend...every project I started over my 3 week winter break has officially failedim sure you all heard my fuss over the mess of wires behind the dash... well it took a while but i got it all sorted out, then found my dimmer problem... so i ordered the rest of my gauges etc and was installing them. so im at my friends house (while hes at his his gf's) and explaining to his dad what im doing, he was kind enough to let me borrow his circle drill to cut 2 &1/8 holes for the gauges. but as we were disscussing various ideas to use to make the bezel he drops the aluminum gauge on his tile kitchen floor denting the lip... i cringed, but shook it off... i figured id try n bend it back with a cloth and plyers. so i got the store and buy nice aluminum sheeting to replace the piece or crappy steel i had. get home and to no avail discover the needle fell off inside the gauge... so im an oil pressure gauge down.

earlier i went out and bought a breaker bar since none of my friends had one to spare, came home and was trying to remove the 17mm and 12mm bolts from the trany mount to install my nismo one. o got one 17 mm loose then moved to the next and it seemed slightly tougher, but ended up tearing the head off a grade A bolt!.... so now i gotta take my car to have the bolt drilled out. i pray someone can do it...

so with no avail i figured if i could just get the others off the shop whouldnt charge me for just haveing them install my transmission mount. so i start on the 12mm and it twists the adapter I was borrowing from a friend in half... so I replaced his now busted one with one from my tool kit. (since his was brand new)

the car also has an aftermarket alarm, i came out ealier this week and had to charge the battery (i figured from sitting long) i intended to disconnect the batt but not till i was finnished cause alarm goes off every time you connect it and likes to be nitpicky

and on top of that the themostat i installed at beginging of break still must have air in it b/c i keep pumping air outta the car thru the hoses with the rad cap off... i honestly dont think i installed it wrong, but i cant seem to bleed the system... and overheating is bad, im not starting the car again till i get my water temp gauge installed and that wont happen till easter now that i need to order another gauge.

i think the only thing that went my way was installing the rad cap... but it'll probibly blow up...

other misc. things, my work lamp broke witch i jerry rigged back together with wire crimp ties... i just quit hockey b/c of grades last semester, my best friend might be moving to fl... another friend isnt coming back to school. and i never got around to installing my moms cd player i bought her for x-mas...

srry bought this im just real depressed/ end rant :Jon

Damn that was long.....but I read it all. Normally I'd ask for cliff notes but you're my dude. Anyways, hang in there....**** happens, its all part of life. Things are never smooth all the time. But look on the bright side, you'll get to hang out with a bunch of car people here soon. And all of our fun cars are down or away for the winter.
