Heey what should i do? Buy a high performance muffler and goto my local jiffy lube or w/e and have them put custom 3in piping on it and install it or buy the package exhaust system?

I bought an apexi n1 muffler, took it to a guy i know in muffler shop and he put the whole thing on with a 3' pipe off the cat for 100 bucks... that ended up costing me about 300 which is cheaper than what my local import store was selling for an apexi n1 catback w/out installation... i say go the cheap way, it works great by the way

it's not like it's a drastic loss of power, and if he plans on going turbo it's better to go ahead and get 3in now so you don't have to pay for 2 exhaust systems.

Also it's best to buy an exhaust system that's mandrel bent so that the air flows smoothly. Most places just crush/crunch bend the pipes, which disturbs the airflow at the bends. I suppose if you found a local shop that could mandrel bend the pipes it would be cheaper than going with a brand name aftermakret cat-back. Good luck on finding one that does though, I hear they are pretty rare, and seem to be around here.
