Anyone who can answer this question will get some money!!!! Hey I have stumbled across some crazy info from one of the guys on Dodge (skittles) forum. They have a similar issues compairable to when we try using RB26 cams in a RB20 motor, and they have a solutiuon!! When putting 2.4 oem cams into the 2.0 engine, they have issues with the lifters. Solution…that polyurethane liquid that people use to fill gaps in 4 engine mounts, you know u inject the liquid poly and then it hardens and helps create better engine mounts…Guys have taken this method and have injected hydro lifters with this poly stuff and let it dry,. it basically turns the lifter from a hydro lifter in to almost a solid lifter. It creates a hydro lifter that is almost solid, it has a little flex to it, but the idle issues that where once only deemed fixable by buying a set of solid lifters in has gone out the door. I just wanted to see what you guys maybe thought about. I am not trying to sound like an idiot!! Just any feedback would be great.....
