LOL, I like watching cops. That show cracks me up. I watched It a few days ago when this guy on a sport bike was running for the cops. He finally pulled over, and they were like why did you run? And he was like I didn't want to get another ticket. They were like how many have you had? And he was like around 25, but I got a lawyer for each one, and usually I just pull Into a side street and hide If I am going to get a ticket. What a dumbass! you don't tell cops that.

i have a feeling this is going to turn into the cops story thread, so ill contribute :)

i saw another one where a guy ran on a bike and the cop finally cornered him and jumped out of the car and just leveled the guy with his shoulder, it was great

one time, at about 2am, me and my friends were makin a mad dash to ihop before the closed, and i passed an undercover cop at literally twice the limit...

now a few things were wrong here...

1. i was driving out past 12, legal curfew for under 182. i had 2 passengers, also illegal till you're 17 in VA3. i was doin 90mph (three lane street and it was empty save for a few cars)

it looked nothing like any cop car i've ever seen so it was an honest mistake.

...so we stop at the light, and im in the turn lane and this big ole boat of a car pulls up next to me, the one i just most recently passed...and i'm like wow, that's a funny lookin set of mirrors...OH ****! that's a spotlight! so the cop rolls down his window and says, "hey there buddy, might wanna slow it down a bit ok?"...then pulls off at the green light...end of story...no ticket, or anything...that woulda been a big one for sure too!

COPS is a great show. My old shop got broken into by some drugged up guy, and an employee who happens to live across the street from the shop saw it and called it in. Who shows up? the COPS tv crew, of course. It was pretty cool and also quite sad seeing my town on COPS. It's cool to see streets and places I recognize. It's also disheartening, to see just how many low life criminals live here... :(

I guess it's kind of a dirty recognition, to have your town featured on COPS so often.

I still haven't seen one here in DC. I know they've done it before, but i shoulda been in one or two of those episodes.
