Quick wiring question

i found a wiring guide online (not the one at heavy throttle, its a little too vague for me) and it mentions something about taking the brown harness plug from the KA harness and splicing it into the CA harness. i was just making sure that i'm replacing the correct plug on the ca harness. The one i'm supposed to replace is a smaller square gray one with eight wires running into it and on the face of the plug it has a little green divider running down it. If no one knows what i'm talking about, its one of the two main plugs that i'm supposed to use according to the heavy throttle guide.

another small question. on the same plug... what to i connect the brown wire to? i think its the o2 wire. the only wire that seems like its out of place on the CA side is a gray one. for some reason my logic tells me i should go gray to brown?

That brown wire needs to go to any 12v switched power source.. aka anything thats going to get power when the car is turned on. I think i used the ignition power. But the ignition power may fluctuate but oh well.
