Quick wiper Question

I just bought a set of Bosch Icon wipers for my a/c because the old ones are garbage (and autozone is having a buy one get one free thing). They work wonderful!

However, I noticed that the wiper blade doesn't go as far to the left of my windshield (from driver seat) as the old ones (possibly about an inch or so). I know that this is due to the fact that the OEM wipers have a bracket or something of the like that pushes them away from the wiper arm a little bit, whereas the Bosch one's don't come with that.

Is this a part you can buy, or am I just going to have to suck it up and deal with the dirt line creeping an inch or so in on my windshield for the benefit of having a real wiper blade?

You should suck it up... I didn't even notice this when I got mine a while back. You should get Rainx maybe that will make it less noticeable. Icons+Rainx = Amazing

I have them for a year now and never noticed...There is a A and B type, driver and passanger side..+1 with the rain-x

Not sure what the 2.5's come with but my wipers that came with the coupe are like the Bosch Icons. I just replaced the wiper blades yesterday and it was pretty easy. I bought the replacement blades from the dealer and total costs for both was less than $10.00

"Like" the icons. They're hideous, hence why I just outright bought new ones. The 2.5 and 3.5 have the same wipers, and I dunno but the old wipers on my 3.5 were trash. After having Icons on my old car I will never buy a different set...

yea, it's a 428A for the driver side, 417B for passenger.

I thought the stock wipers were pretty good but again I'm not a connoisseur of wipers either

The stock wipers are actually not bad, best OEM wipers I've had, I beat the snot out of them last winter up on the lake (Ohio sucks) and they still work fine not dryrotted or worn or anything, I'll probably replace them next oil change/1st snow whichever comes 1st, but to be honest they are still in really good shape.
