Ok, so before I put my downpipe on, the car ran like a champ. Well, gave me hell when cold, but when warm ran like a mofo. Then, about a week after putting on the dp (and changing my plugs) it began to give me all kinds of hell. Bucking at low RPM and heavy throttle no matter how warm. Well, I just changed my plugs (and note: the plugs that I pulled out were not very tight in the hole. Also, they were sooty black after just 3 weeks) and my O2 sensor (it was ashy and sooty) and now, the car gives me a crap when cold at anything more than 25% throttle, but when warm, it runs smoothly again. Any comments? I am in such a bad mood about my car right now, I am giving it a week before it starts acting up again...

If it's sooty, you're running rich.

Since your spark plugs AND O2 sensor are black, i'd check your air meter, something is causing you to run rich.

you could try cleaning your maf, just take some brake cleaner or carb cleaner, and spray into the small hole on the maf, or you could remove the plastic sensor from the maf, and clean the little resistors with carb cleaner sprayed on a qtip, that might help ya out.
