That's a hell of a lope for the bc step 2 cams, I'm running the same cams and my car idles nice and smooth, except when my vtc sprocket decides to be a pain in the a** and stick.

I'm running a haltech, but even when I had the enthaply tuned ecu it still idled smooth, just not as good as it does now with the haltech.

I've done all the tuning myself so far, I do eventually plan on taking my car somewhere to get it tuned by some one that has greater knowledge than me,(when I have more monies) but for right now I can handle everything just fine.

nice! again i'm just started learning myself. but the tuner i'm using has been tuning and building sr's, rb's, 2jz, 4g63, 13b's since the 90's lol. i'm just trying to understand the tuning myself. ha

any suggestions on my idle? like what's your fpr set at? my car idles like that when i reduce my inj duty to about 50%... but it gives little initial throttle response... so i'm still on the apexi PFC base maps... and just trying to adj a little at a time and see what works...

I have a stock fuel system other than the walbro and injectors. What are your afr's at idle and how many degrees of timing are you running?

I've noticed that the bc 264 cams like to be a little rich at idle (~13.2 13.5) and they idle smoother with about 20 degrees of timing. Every car is going to be different but that should be a fairly decent starting point. Also check rs enthalpy's web site he has some power fc base maps that should be a much better starting point than the ones that came with the unit.

Are you using the hand held commander to tune your car? If you are I'm sorry as that is a big pain in the a** and the biggest reason I steered clear of the power fc.

i have a nismo fpr and it's just set at the base setting stock. which is like 3bar or something? not entirely sure of my timing right now lol. whatever the base tune comes with the power fc...the a/f gauge i got is junk i'm trying to get a wideband here real quick to help me out.

yeah i actually have those on a excel file. my tuner has apexi power excel on his lappy but it's trashed right now... thus our problem with slow tuning on the handheld...

i'll talk with him later tonight about the timing and such to see what he says. thank you for you input!

Your #1 priority right now should be getting a wide band, as it is damn near impossible to tune accurately with out one, good luck with it.
