only 2 bolts for a BOV.Although you may have to have a flange welded onto the piping for it.

Z32s did not come with BOVs. there is a pop-off valve on the intake plenum to vent boost in case of a wastegate failure.

They have re-circ. valves on both sides on the plumbing between the intercooler and the TB. Basically its the "blow-off valve, but it just recirulates the air bacl into th intake stream. Aftermarket BOV's for z32s are a waste in my opion. If you do decide to go that route, make sure you get some kind with a recirc system because the car was designed for that extra air, so it will run funny without it. You will experience rough idle issues if you just vent to atmosphere. Its just for the "cool" noise at this point. The only need to get BOV's would be for insane HP numbers. I do think HKS makes a recirc aftermarket BOV system though.

I've heard as much about the Z32. I bought mine with BOV's, and I like the sound but more worried about power and function. I wonder how much I'm losing with those bad boys venting to the outside? Anybody ever had their car dyno'd with each setup?

The performance differences are negligible and at big boost and big hp (heavily modded z32's) I'd recommend bov's over the recircs.

I know it's an old thread but thanks for the info. I'm leaving mine on, and going after more important aspects. Maybe new cams (any advice), possibly boring and bigger pistons if I can get a good machine shop, and basically anything I can do to get more power. I want to get better ICs and make a CO2 spray system too.
