i am turboing my ka and am wondering if turbos pump oil or if they rely on the difference in pressure from the feed line to the oil line. i am aasking because i am looking at getting one of these http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1-8-TURB ... 354wt_1255 and just making one inlet the feed line and the other the return line,

any help is appreciated, thanks

Your engine's oil feed sends oil everywhere, you have to tap into that to run the feed line to the turbo. That feed line goes into the top of the turbo and gravity feeds it through the turbo then out of the return line and back into the oil pan.

Oh and your link doesn't work.

Yeah, that wouldn't work. It would be forcing oil from both lines to the turbo. One line from the filter spacer to turbo and then the return to the oil pan. Most would either plug the 2nd fitting on the spacer or use it for aftermarket oil presure sensor/gauge.

Wait, one side of the spacer is a feed and the others a return right? Prolly designed to be used for a cooler...

No, i think it was just a oil sandwich adapter with a couple ports in it. Both ports will feed oil pressure which can be used for: oil feed, oil pressure gauge, oil temp gauge, or anything else that needs oil pressure.
