quick transmission question..

im trying to help my friend take off his transmission to his bone stock 92 s13... for some reason this car we can't get the top transmission bolt off...i've done this before to my s13 and my friends and we've never run into this problem...its weird. anyone have suggestions? thanks... i tried searching but it seems like no one has this problem

Unsecure the transmission from the cross member and jack up the tail end. That should give you a little more space between the bellhousing and the firewall.
