My transmission mount has been suspicious for the last few months... As some may remember, back this summer i replaced my driveshaft with a new one.... That took care of 90% of vibrations.....
So this evening, after I finally got home from school (finals are finally over, woohoo!), I installed my new bose in dash CD head unit and decided to check out my transmission mount...
I got under there, and it looks "good"..... however, it looks bowed in the middle.... It doenst look smashed or anything, but it almost doesnt look like the trans is fully resting on it... The rubber looks fairly pliable and doesnt look too bad...
It just looks like something is squeezing it in or something.....
If members of this forum think that this sounds like how ones transmission mount looked when replaced, i will call up joe tomorrow and order me a new mount...

Thats the thing, if mine had high miles on it, id just go ahead and do it, but mine only has 40k-ish on it..... It was replaced when the engine was swapped at T3

just verfied and they have the same design... The MT and AT ones should be the same since they dont show a different diagram for the MT model.

elwesso, is that polyurethane trans mount for a 350z installable on a 96Q? i called spl and was told it fits a 350z, did not kbnow about Q,s. any help?
