quick track question???

i usually launch at 2,000rpms....i really dont spin but i catch grip real fast...anyways is it a good idea to drop my tires' air-pressure a bit????

crazy idea i got here go to an empty parking lot or like a side street with no houses and little traffic bring air pump any try it see what air presure works best

I wouldn't do it. I would keep it in the recomended range. Don't want to pop a tire off the rim.

you didn't specify the kind of "tracl" you had in mindlower tire pressure is ideal for drag racing, but dangerous for autocross, or road course, typically you want more air for the road course or autocross

By more air, do you mean closer to the maximum recommended or just more than what you want for drag (i am thinking of hitting some autoX this year, and would like to know as much as possible).

if you plan to autocross on street tires I'd start at about 40 psi, check for rollover on the tire edges and adjust a couple lbs in whatever direction needed from there, chances are you can ind someone more experienced at the event to help you dial it in

i meant drag racing...autocross really doesnt fit my driving style but hey everyone has different styles right??

^oh i was gonna say i have seen plunty of people drop some tire pressure at autoxs when it is raining, but otherwise they keep em in recommended ranges.

get another set of rear rimz and put drag tires on them and then quick swap at the track presto more grip and u can drop the psi real low
