ok so i took the old timing gun out today because it just did'nt feel right so i hooked up a spark plug wire and jumped the coilpack and sparkplug and started shoot and my timing was at 30 degree's....... now after looking through the fsm . the book say's stock timing is 15 degree's for a manual and 20 for a auto ... so i bumped my cas back and got it at the 20 mark took it for a spin .... and needless to say it felt alot slower???? can anyone point me in the right direction..

rb20detstock setup just a frontmount

of course it felt slower, you retarded the timing to where it should be. you probably lost 8 or 10 hp.

but now you wont blow your engine up. so its a fair trade?
