Quick timing chain questions

I did a search, but didn't find anything and I just have a few quick questions.1. My new chain is slightly loose on the guide side. Is this normal?2. My timing cahin kit came with more seals then I know what to do with. I have the crank seal and the two timing chain cover seals. Those I know, but then i have a seal that looks like the timing chain cover seal but slightly smaller. I also have an o-ring. The o-ring I am thinking goes to the oil pickup, but I am not sure. The other seal I have no idea about.Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
