Quick thermostat

That little rubber oring that came with the thermostat, that supposed to be left on? Honestly the one in there didnt have one.. and Im talking about the rubber oring, not the gasket.

my friend bought 1 with it, but it would't fit so we took it out and then the t-stat fit just like stock, so i believe you have to take it out, the outer o-ring that is.

my friends' car runs fine by the way, it warms up normal and everything.
