the safc2 has 12 input points rather than 8.... this is the only signifigant difference.... the knock sensor thing doesn't really do that much..... but the 4 extra programming points are worth the extra money if you've got it, but on the other hand i see safc-1s for $175 or less now on ebay..... i've still got my 1 and it's been in 3 cars, and i'm still pretty happy..... tuning from 4500-5000-5500-6000-6500-7000-7500 would be nice though

Hey loudbay i was wondering about that set-up how well do u like it, and how tuneable is it compared to other fuel-mangement, any dislikes?

no problems.... i got a wideband o2 sensor, so i can tune the afc pretty good..... like i said it would be nice to have 4 extra tuning spots, but i'm not unhappy at all.... i've got alot of power too.... no real dyno numbers, but if you think i may have it done, i probably do..... all i've really got left is to go into the head/block.... the afc helps even out the idle to when you disconnect the recirculating bov.... let me know if you've got morre ?s
