So I've got a quick question - Is the rear springs supposed to be as a tornado shape - like small on the bottom where it meets the shock and larger on the top?

I want to know before I go at taking the rear stuff off so I know if its correct - Thanks - and like stated above - I'll have pictures of it tonight

Thanks NICO,Corey

lol!! you got those spring and shocks in from jdmwerks huh. no those will not fit and the s13 that he is going to try to send wont fit either. don't put any thing on not even the fronts. just ask him for a refund for the springs and keep the shocks. then go order your own springs. like eibach tein HR or something good. you wont regret it. he gave me $140 back for the springs and paid for shipping both ways. i put those on my girls car and they are great

you made a post about this a while ago asking if it was a good deal and i told you unless he change his spring company then the one you get do NOT fit. i think they are vogland or something like that the spring is purple. right

tornato shaped?

dude... you sure you have the right springs? The diameter of the strut towers should be the same size as the perch of the strut, so I don't see how a "tornato" shaped spring would work or even sit right.

oh... and lets post suspension topics in the suspensions forums from now on, mmmkay?

They fit correctly - and ride a lot better than I was thinking!

I was using tornado as like sort of funnel shaped I guess. . .as though one end is larger in diamater than the other - which it is, but just by a hair.

I was messing with the struts and shocks, adjusting away - I've got the front set at the "2" mark and the rear set at the "6" mark. The front only goes to 4, whereas the rear goes to 8. . .So I guess I've got it set somewhat evenly.

Yeah, JDMWerks were no good - but at least I finally got the product in. . . No communication whatsoever. The stuff wasn't really "packaged", just all 5 boxes (2 for struts, 2 for shocks, 1 for springs) were just taped together and UPS label slapped upon it.

I'm wanting these springs to set in so it won't look like its got the "4x4" stance. . .

God knows I've gotten made fun of enough already - much less with a new suspension and it still sits a little high. . .

we need some pics of the springs. if they are the same as the one i got then they would not even mount up correctly and i would be a safety hazard if you did put them on.

The back springs fit the shock perfectly - no movement or play between the mounting bracket for the bottom of the spring OR the top mount (even though I did break one of the bolts off )

Car still seems to be running fine - I'll have the pictures of it here within the next 8 hours.

BTW little fun fact - I bought the NFS Pro Street game and noticed that these springs were on there. . .I chuckled. . . Because on the game they are rated better than Eibach
