quick sunroof question

Ever since i bought my car the soonroof doesn't work. It moves up and down but not forward and back. It's supposed to move down and between the headliner and roof of the car right?

I don't know if it might be getting stuck on the plastic molding that goes around the glass when it's trying to go down. Any help?

its suppose to retrack backwards but you may have something blocking it from doin that. just take it down and check it out. actually doesn't take much to take it out.

Have you seen a write up or article for this? I searched sunroof and only got 2 threads...
