Hi all,

I just want to make sure before I order it, but according to the sticky at the top of the forum, a CA20E starter will work on our CA18DETs. So, unless I missed something, these will work:

Am I right?

Thanks

Nope! I have a few of them that are brand new and they do not work with the CA flywheel. Has alot to do with the gear that;s in that particular starter.

Thanks for letting me know!

Do you know of any starters that are USDM that will work?

Have you actually tried this or do you think it will work?

As an aside are you actually in Almaty? It's not a country that you see very often on Nico...

Pulsar starter does NOT work. The Pulsar flywheel is smaller.

You want a starter from an '87 S12 (200sx in the USA, Silvia elsewhere) turbo (CA18ET)
