quick spark plug question

i was loking in the sticky about ca18det spark plugs and ca18det.org.there is an asterisk * that says exhaust side, do i get 4 of the exhaust plugs?what do i order, i am lost by this.thankssorry for the newb questionsmatt

also, what do i do for a valve cover gasket, i figure thye ca18de, but just want to make shure.thanks

For plugs I recommend ngk bcpr6es-11 or bkr6es-11 for mild upgrades. They run a couple bucks apiece. Some ca's came w/ 2 plugs/cylinder that's what people mean by exhaust side.

For the valve cover gaskets the de should do the trick. You could always return it to the dealer if anything ever doesn't work out, even though they make you pay in advance. (at least this has been my experience) Are your current gaskets beat or are you being precautionary? There's no reason to get new ones unless they look beat and/or dried up, they're rubber. Don't forget rtv on the firewall side where the half-moon inserts are.

what gap do you run on those plugs?

1.1mm they are pregapped.
