Quick ?? so i can buy parts. 2001 qx4 shocks the same as 02-04? or is it 96-01??

Im kinda stumped here, was pricing out some shocks and control arms, my car is a 2001 Qx4. ANd when searchign for shocks, most ebay listings have the qx4 shocks as 96-01 sets and 02-04 sets. Is there 01 not the same as 02 03 04? I figured it would be the same with the same body style.

What is the build date of your Q?

More than likely, the '01 is different than the '02+. Mfgrs do crazy things with tiny revisions in mid-model refreshes.

What do some of the big online parts retailers (i.e. worldimpex) have listed for your Q? Do you have part numbers?

Ummm its an 01, but I dont know the exactly build date.

I just found it odd that ALOT of companies list it differently. some are 96-02, 96-01, 96-00, some say 03-04 only, 96-98 only. There was just tons of misinformation!

I'm pretty sure you'll be fine with the GR2's, I'm about to put some on my 01.
