I stupidly pried out the rod that the shift linkage hooks up to on the transmission when changing the neutral safety switch. And after putting it back it wouldnt shift (now i know why). I put the detent spring back on, and replaced the retaining pin in the shaft, but now it is stuck in drive, whatever i put the shifter in, its still in drive. If I put it in park it will move forward about an inch before the parking lock engages, and also it wont rev past 2k rpm. My question is this, does the "parking" rod control the shifting of all gears, or what? I spoke to periferal last night just wanted to double check due to being confused by the FSM :p E
