Quick Release?

Hey guys I got a nrg short hub and i wanted to get there quick release but I didn't have the cash any body know of any other quick release out there thats cheaper?

Most are universal, just match it to the pattern of your wheel. The hubs are vehicle specific, the QR's are universal. You got a short hub, you may also want a shirt QR which a few companies make.

A short quick release? where would i get a shorter one? and how short is it?

be careful using a short hub and short quick release, some of them don't clear the steering shaft/column in the center...mine had to be modified to fit it was a nrg short QR and a circuit sports short hub.

Circuit sports? How good are theres better then nrg?

the short hub is pretty nice, it looks good and works fine, but then again they're pretty hard to screw up... Quick release though I wouldn't cheap out on seeing as that's what is holding your steering wheel

Ok I got the nrg 2.5 quick release looks nice it feels strong. I put it on but my horn doesn't work anyone else have this problem?

Did you hook up the wires and everything?

Yea i connected everything I thought I might had the wires backwards switched them back and fourth and still nothing.

I would get this lock also. I'm really going to put this in my budget as well. Others might have one too.

It is good for people that might have the same steering wheel as you. NRG is pretty popular. I don't know if it is good as far as quality but definitely another line of defense.

no idea about the horn but the lock IS in my to get list as well. i read a post about someone who caught someone else in their car, nrg hub and steering wheel and the only reason he didn't take it was because of the lock on it. SO DO IT SON! lolz

Please don't cheap out on something that's holding your steering wheel. It's just not smart man. If you don't have $100, spend the money on something more important entirely.

I'm getting the whole kit for a little over $500 for somewhat a piece of mind. Yes, please don't cheap out on your steering ever!! Somebody posted up awhile that their steering hub broke while driving, and almost took out some people.

Upgrade to a 18 wheeler/train horn?? It's not like they are going to hear that bicycle bell over the engine noise/exhaust. I'm thinking about doing that to scare the 5H!T out of somebody when they pull out in front of me.

Cool thanks guys I just got the lock the other day pretty nice! I like it a lot! I hope its really strong enough so one one gets in.
