Is it bad to up shift and down shift on your own?If im correct i heard it's bad but i mean its almost like a manual trans except the clutch etc etc.So is it?I know that most gears are for heavy load and what not but why would they add em if it was bad.Well let hear your opinions?

Well if your going to do it don't do it often, At high speeds and don't let off the gas while shifting because it confuses the TCU.

Lol oops......i do it when the cars slowing down hahaha........makes it sound nice. I also do it when it's pushing on the gas.I do it most times though it feels better like before making a corner and stuff.I mean why would they add it if it's bad feel me?Some guy with a turbo Q45 shifts by himself all the time im guessing since he said he likes shifting alone.

ITS BAD!... I would like to say COMPLETELY but I do it too... with rules of course.

The vehicle is built to be able to downshift using the shifter. But its not meant to be abused. Its extremely unresponsive too...

I guess its the TCU... But I have already confused it by simple & accidental shifts.... and it does evil things.

I already learned my lesson. I only use it to upshift or hold a gear. I downshift by flooring the throttle.

What has it done?Well i do it when just driving i mean basically all the time just started to like 4days ago.Well right now the cars in my drive way waiting for a hood but you get the idea. Can't you just disconnect the battery to reset the TCU?
