1.) Is this nipple a good place for a vacuum source for the BOV, Greddy pressure sensor and boost gauge?

2.) Is this BOV installed corrrectly or should I flip it over? It is a DSM type BOV.

Thanks for your help. I am so close to finishing I can smell it!!!

1) Yes, that is a great place for a vacuum source. I personally use it for my BOV & boost gauge. However you may want to put a better clamp on it. I used a fuel hose clamp, not the worm gear type.

2) I use an FD bypass valve myself, so I am not entirely familiar with the DSM one. However a bypass valve is not directional; it is either open or closed and allows air to pass through either direction. It's unlike a check valve, atleast from my understanding.

As to the BOV, I've never seen this one. If it's a bosch, it's probably on correctly. BOVs have a right and wrong way of mounting. Keep and eye out for a first gen eclispe/talon BOV, they are metal and put up with 25psi plus.
