Sorry guys, but I don't know a thing about wiring and I need your help.

I am expecting a headunit to be delievered any minute now, and I don't know how to install the headunit in. Well, one of my friends are helping me put it in but he needs to know which colored wires are which. (ground, pwr att., and etc.)

I have a '95 (s14) 240, and have the 6 speaker system (stock). Also, what tools do I need for the installation? I already have the crimping tool, but what crimps do i have to get and where? Do I need some kind of manual to take out the factory headunit? Thanx.

How do i remove the center console? I got the ashe try, and the top part (vents) off, but I dont know how to remove the middle part. So far I removed 3 screws. 2 behind the hazard sign and 1 behind the ashe tray.

You need to remove the plastic piece around the shift boot. It pops right out easily, just held in place by clips. Shift it into 2, 4, or reverse to give yourself some room. Then, pop off the plastic around the vents and temp controls, same deal, just pops off. Now, unscrew four screws holding the metal frame in place. The entire unit comes out as one piece. Unscrew the factory radio, and most aftermarket head units have pre-drilled holes for Nissan applications.... USE THEM!! Do not mount the stereo using the metal sleeve that they provide!! As previously mentioned, BUY a WIRING HARNESS... this will save you so many hassles! It's all prety easy, good luck!
