I have a 95 max that im rebuilding right now, i was wondering if there r any longer rods from another nissan v6 that would interchange in the vq30 to make a longer stroke to lower the compression? If not, are there any thing else i could do to lower the compression other than putting a mile high of head gaskets on it? (its going to be turbod is why i want to lower the compression)

Did you have to remove the camshafts separately or can you leavethem as part of a larger assembly?

Would you not be looking for shorter rods?

the camshafts come out seprately, after you have removed the timing set, and the cam caps of course. And no actually you want longer rods to lower compression.....longer stroke....shorter rod......higher compression because the pistons have a shorter distance to travel
