Do you have the air supply for the AAC valve plumbed in?If not as soon as you close the throttle plate it will stall.

What does adjusting the throttle stop do?

the throttle plate should be fully shut and the TPS idle switch must be closed at idle. When this switch is closed the ECU takes control of the idle by altering the pulses of the AAC valve.

It's common that people forget to connect the AAC feed when fitting an FMIC.

here this makes cool reading too on setting up the TPS and AAC...

well if you adjust the throttle plate so that it doens't shut all the way it would work. It eliminates the throttle pick up for when you turn the A/C on though. I wouldn't do it if you want your A/C to work.
