quick question the "nissanaics" can help me with

A great resource for Nissan Sentra, Infiniti G20, 200sx, Pulsar, NX1600, NX2000, Tsuru, Primera and Sunny owners.

i have an 06 spec-v...ive gotten a k&n intake and am looking into headers and a full cat back exhaust...im going to eventually put an apexi air/fuel controller on it...apexi makes the S-AFC II which has a vtec controller...my question is since the spec-v has the cvcts which is basically the same concept as a vtec would the vtech controller concept of the apexi controller work with the cvcts...you would think it would but im not 100% sure...hopefully i can get some kinda answer...also if u can give me opinions on headers, lowering springs, and cat-back exhausts

HEADER.....HEADER.....Not headers. CVTC is NOT the basically the same thing as VTEC. The initial C stands for CONTINUOUSLY. In fact it's CONTINUOUSLY VARIABLE TIMING CONTROL. A VTEC contoller S-AFCII will not do anything with CVTC. Just buy a standard S-AFCII.

For a header, most people get the Nismo or the Hotshot. If you want just lowering springs, get the Tein S-Tech springs. If you want a cat-back exhaust, I *HIGHLY* recommend the BRM Racing exhaust.

I would also recommend Energy Suspension motor mount inserts, to keep the motor still. That will help eliminate the wheel hop and have the added benefit of stopping the intake from banging the hell out of the MAF and breaking the filament.

I would, in addition, recommend a lightened crank pulley. People call them under-drive pulleys, however, there is no true under-drive pulley for the QR motor.

Also, if you don't mind making alterations to your motor, I'd recommend the NISMO cams and the Jim Wolf balance shaft removal kit.
